John Keating started stand-up  comedy in Boston during the mid-  nineties. Shortly after breaking in, he  was named as one of the “best  young performers on the Boston  comedy scene” by the Boston  Herald. John mixes sarcastic wit and  an extremely likable persona to  entertain and excite even the most  inflexible of audiences. Not only is  John a favorite in the world of  stand-up comedy, but has also  studied acting with Dee Wallace in Los Angeles Master  Class.  John has recently guest starred on ABC’s hit  sitcom The Middle.

 His original style and unique perspective on topics ranging  from his years spent living with his grandparents to the  rigors of hiding his “inner geek” from the women he dates  has allowed John to perform all over the country, sharing  stages with such diverse acts as Dave Chappelle, ‘Weird Al’ Yankovic and music stars Barenaked Ladies

 In addition to acting and comedy, John also writes and  draws the web comic Breaking the Ice.
