It was an emotionally merciless episode throughout. Delirious from pain and heat and 17 years of bitterness, Jaime reveals to Brienne that he slew the Mad King to stop him from burning King’s Landing to the ground, but refused to tell anyone because he was so outraged by Ned Stark’s pre-judgment that he couldn’t even bear to defend himself with the truth. “By what right does the...

Auditioning is not the same thing as acting. It’s a whole different muscle and skill set. As a casting director friend of mine is fond of saying, there are a lot of great auditioners who book a ton and lot more actors who are amazing that never do.

This is a pilot I was in a little over a year ago and remains one of the best times I’ve ever spent filming something. On top of that, I met some really great friends and got to work with people I was already great friends with. So it’s looking like there could possibly be more upcoming? (I hope!) I play the owner of “retroland”. It’s funny and has a really good heart...

Electoral Emissions on Huffington Post!
A few months ago, I was asked to be a part of a short, political comedy film called Electoral Emissions. It had it’s world premiere two weeks ago at a short film festival in Los Angeles and yesterday it was posted, in it’s entirety, on the Huffington Post.
It’s a very left leaning piece but as director Brian Crewe says in the article:
“As a viewer, you may agree or...

So, I’ll be going and ramping up my security settings around the web now. Thanks.
This is why I NEVER check into specific locations EVER. Not on Facebook, and I shun Foursquare. I won’t even turn on the GPS in my phone. Not that it matters, because the truth is that if someone has the knowledge and tries hard enough, they can find you.

Ladies and gentlemen,
I hereby present Lance Bangs’ video of John Hodgman’s An Evening Of My Expertise, featuring my rendition of Dr. Zauis’ one-ape version of “Mark Twain Tonight!”
Very special thanks to Andy Schoneberg’s make-up genius (and willingness to drive to San Francisco).
Next year, Cornelius in “TRU”.
Enjoy.
This is kind of amazing

As you have probably heard, there are two pieces of legislation currently pending that we, and others like us, believe seriously threaten the internet. I wanted to take some time to delve into the text of both of these bills, and outline their potential consequences as I am able to understand them. As you can imagine, this is a complex issue, and as a result this is going to be a...

Roger Ebert on why movie revenue is dropping →
For me, these two are chief among them:
3. The theater experience. Moviegoers above 30 are weary of noisy fanboys and girls. The annoyance of talkers has been joined by the plague of cell-phone users, whose bright screens are a distraction. Worse, some texting addicts get mad when told they can’t use their cell phones. A theater is reportedly opening which will allow and even bless cell...
